Rockliffe Hall wanted a high-quality, quarterly newspaper that portrays the luxurious nature of their 5 star hotel, spa and golf course to provide their guests and community, to ensure they were aware of all the fantastic opportunities they could experience.
Challenge
The challenge was to reach and engage with Rockliffe Hall’s clientele with a quarterly publication, ensuring that the content is fresh, informative and engaging – and matched the quality of the establishment itself.
What we did?
Allies Group proposed to Rockliffe Hall a quarterly newspaper styled publication which will showcase the five-star country retreat, along with giving guests, club members, and day visitors a sense of the thriving Rockliffe Hall community and how they could experience it.

The result
Allies Group and Rockliffe Hall collaborated to produce ‘Rock Life’ a quarterly newspaper. The spring 2023 edition features topics such as Restaurant Focus: The Orangery, Gourmet Getaway, Swing Into Action plus insightful interviews with the Senior Pastry Chef and the Spa Director.
3,000 copies of the newspaper have been sent to all guest rooms, presented in the common and lounge areas, Spa & Golf receptions, and delivered directly to Golf & Spa members
The 32-page newspaper features:
- Latest developments and offers across the retreat
- Seasonal activity e.g. Golf, Spa, gardens, places to visit
- Four restaurants, head chefs, suppliers, recommendations and recipes
- Highlights of the people that make Rockliffe Hall tick
We were in regular communication with Rockliffe Hall to ensure that their quarterly newspaper featured their required design, approved content and imagery.
