About Tresco Island

The island is owned by the Dorrien-Smith family and comprises more than 100 holiday cottages, an inn, spa, restaurants, art gallery, swimming pools, tennis courts and the world famous Abbey Garden.

Tresco visitors are affluent individuals with real spending power. The ‘Islandshare’ offering has been invested in by around 1,200 timeshare owners who return year after year, generation after generation.

What we did

We designed, produced and project managed the 2020 Tresco Times yearbook including all editorial, art direction, photography, commercial sales and distribution.

The result is an authentic and unique publication that increases repeat and new bookings, while offering real value to the reader and Tresco’s ‘Islandshare’ members’ community. The Tresco Times yearbook is a beautifully designed chronicle of life on the island, to be treasured and collected by visitors new and old. Full of in-depth reads, round-up features and interviews with locals – backed with stunning imagery from across Tresco, the yearbook is a constant reminder of the island’s beauty and unique draw.

The Tresco Times yearbook also features a month-by-month guide to cultural events on the island and beyond, making it an indispensable companion to any visit to Scilly, as well as key marketing tool for businesses.

Allies Group worked closely with our internal team to create a more commercially viable publication while retaining the authenticity at the heart of this treasured periodical. Their integrated approach enabled us to focus on aligning the content to our brand values and strategy while transitioning subtly to a new publication style.
